Plan set production
Grading, drainage, utility, erosion control and site plan sheets produced from your design intent, in your CAD standards and your title block. Corridors, surfaces, pipe networks and sheet sets built as real Civil 3D software objects, so your engineer can change the design and the sheets follow.
Independent plan review before submittal
A second set of eyes that checks the set against the published checklists the local reviewers actually use, before it goes in. Completeness, sheet-to-sheet consistency, detail references, notes, and the items that generate first-cycle comments. Findings come back as a redline and a list, ready to fix.
Record drawings and closeout
As-built drawings from your field data, compared against the approved plans, packaged to the agency closeout checklist. Stormwater, utility and paving closeout for Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Horry County and the state stormwater program.
Quantity takeoffs
Earthwork, pipe, structures, pavement and erosion control quantities pulled from the model rather than scaled from a PDF. Itemized, with the surfaces and the method included, so the number can be checked.

Drawing templates, styles, sheet set structure and custom ribbon tools for AutoCAD Civil 3D software, plus training by an Autodesk Authorized Instructor. The production side of this practice runs on the same tools, so they are used daily rather than built once and left.

Are you a licensed engineering firm?
No, and the site says so plainly. All deliverables are produced in support of a licensed professional of record, who retains responsible charge. New Roots Development, LLC does not offer professional engineering or land surveying services requiring a seal. If you need a firm that seals, we are happy to work alongside the one you already have.
Whose CAD standards are used?
Yours. Templates, styles, layers and title blocks come from your firm. If you do not have a documented standard, building one is a service on its own.
How does independent review differ from your own internal QC?
It is done by someone who did not draw the set, against the agency's published checklist rather than from memory, and it produces a written list you can hand to the drafter. The goal is fewer first-cycle comments, and a record of what was checked.
